New Year & Updates

The new year is here, and with that we have found a new server link to ZEnet IRC Network. This time it is (p0ntus) as supports us with a new server link, this is not his first time to be linked to ZEnet. Last time we had to delink him becouse of his connection problems as is solved now, and we welcome him into the ZEnet Family. And ofcourse Happy New Year!

Update

It has been a while since we updated this news page, and alot of things has happend since then. For a few months ago a few admins of ZEnet started thier own network and delinked to ZEnet IRC Network. It was as sad time since a few of them has been around ZEnet since it's very first start, but we wish them all good luck with the network.
Now to the other news about ZEnet, since they all left i thought it was a good idé to start asking my friends if thay mabye wanted to start helping out with ZEnet, and i found a few as had the power to do this. So we are now back in buissnes with new services and servers and a few new operators. We have also changed IRCd to (Unreal) from (Bahamut) alot of thinking has been made before we acually made this change.
This gives all our users a new option to hide thier real ip/hostname and you can now also request your very own (hidden-hostname) (ex: my.name.is) and it has been a possitive reaction from the users.

Server Link

Another server link has been made, and this time it's n30 as have sent the request for a new swedish client server which now is under the testlink period with the other servers. The server name is madagaskar.se.eu.zenet.org and is running from Kristianstad in Sweden, we wish n30 and his server all luck in the test and hope that he will be accepted as a full member of the network family.

Website Downtime and 5 new IRC Servers

First of all we had a downtime on our website since the company had a harddrive error as has been fixed. And as we now there shall not be anything missing from the backup so we running like it use to be. We also got 5 new servers to ZEnet IRC Network as we hope will make the linktest to get the access to a ful linked server to ZEnet. There is 4 client servers and 1 hub server and one of them is the first Asain server linked to ZEnet. The Asian server is located in Singapore and is hosted by Thunder. Here is the server testlink server list: phoenix.* & caesar.* is linked by Tri0n3 miranda.* is linked by Discobear and singapore.* is linked by Thunder. we wish then all good luck in the test and hope thay will gain the access to a full linked server.

New Hub + Client Server

Today we finally got our new hub and a brand new client server as will support Zenet with 10.000+ client's. The server is located in Sweden as the others and the server owner is (oldmagic) you can find the information on our Servers page. You're most welcome to connect to our wunderfull network.
